Davinder Kaur is a Professor in the Department of Physics & Centre for Nanotechnology of Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. She received her Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from NPL & Delhi University, India in 1993. She has worked as a Post Doc Fellow at Imperial College, London, U.K, and Visiting scientist at Atomic Institute Vienna, Austria, Royal Institute of Science & Technology Sweden, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Mumbai, India and Visiting Professor at the University of Alberta, Canada. She has completed several research projects sponsored by various agencies of Govt. of India such as DST, CSIR, DRDO, MIT and several are under process. Her current research is related to Gas Sensors, Memory Devices, Shape Memory Alloys, Piezo MEMS Materials, Multiferroic Heterostructures, Supercapacitors, Solar cells and 2D thin-film multilayers.
